Full Time Shelter Attendants

• Effective verbal and writing skills
• The temperament to work with guests with problems indicative of untreated emotional/physical health needs and active substance use/abuse/dependency behaviors
• Ability to respond safely and quickly in emergency situations
• Knowledge of substance abuse, mental health, and other related fields
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to establish and maintain appropriate boundaries
• Ability to prioritize and multi-tasks
• Frequent standing, sitting, stretching, lifting and bending
  

Other qualifications: Experience working with the homeless population a plus
Must be able to pass a CORI

Compensation: $11.50 per hour
