Leadership Mark A. Cote, M.ED, Executive Director, has been a dedicated member of Lifebridge’s staff since 2006, first joining the organization as the Director of Residential Services. During his nine months of oversight of Lifebridge’s residential services, Mark established a culture of personal growth and exceptional performance among staff and clients alike. Mark’s accomplishments earned him the role of Executive Director in 2008. In this role, Mark is successfully strengthening Lifebridge’s operations infrastructure to support the organization's ambitious goal of ending homelessness by providing those most in need with affordable housing and high quality supportive services. As a graduate of University of Massachusetts Lowell, Mark has made a palpable impact in the human service field for more than a decade. From 1998-2006, he worked at Lowell Transitional Living Center, a multi-service agency that offers critical supportive services to the homeless population of Greater Lowell. Mark’s aptitude for leadership while managing 22 employees led to his promotion to the position of Executive Director. While leading the Lowell Transitional Center, Mark steered a vital policy shift from a “wet” to a “sober” environment. He also acquired funding for and oversaw the construction of a new $3.5 million dollar facility that included the 90 bed center and added twelve units of permanent affordable housing.
