Harvest of Hope Food Pantry
On June 10, 2009 Lifebridge and St. Joseph’s Food Pantry announced that their food pantries will merge in July, 2009. The purpose of this merger is to ensure a coordinated approach to providing food for the area’s most vulnerable and hungry residents. The mutual goals of the organizations are to:

1. Ensure more efficient distribution of limited resources.
2. Enable greater purchasing power at the Greater Boston Food Bank.
3. Decrease unnecessary travel expenses into Boston.
4. Provide an increased storage ability.

St. Joseph ’s Food Pantry is dedicated to alleviating hunger on the North Shore and provides a client choice food pantry that is truly dedicated to maintaining the dignity of the people it serves. In all St. Joseph’s Food Pantry serves and average of 2,285 clients and distributes over 3500 bags of food per month to the youth, the elderly, disabled, and disadvantaged. In 2004, St. Joseph’s Food Pantry received the prestigious ‘Partner of the Year Award’ from the Greater Boston Food Bank.

If you have any questions or would like to contribute to this endeavor please contact St. Joseph's Veann Campbell at 978-744-2532 or Mark Cote at 978.744.0500.
