Our Core Programs:
- 22 units of sober supportive housing for single people (see page 2).
- 34 year-round emergency shelter beds plus 18 winter overflow beds
- Daily meals program serves 225 meals a day, 7 days a week (over 7,000 meals per month) to shelter guests and members of the community
- A skilled and knowledgeable team of case managers, health care providers, and employment specialists.
Facts:
- Lifebridge serves more than 1,000 vulnerable men and women each year, providing 488 with the intensive one-to-one support they need to overcome poverty and thrive.
- 14% of clients are employed.
- 35% of clients are disabled.
- 38% of clients are women; nearly all have been victims of domestic violence.
- 43% of clients are between the ages of 40-54, while 22% are 26-39. Our fastest growing population is aged 55-64.
- 8% of clients served are Veterans.
- The emergency shelter and supportive housing units are drug and alcohol free.
- Since we instituted our medical clinic there has been a 30% decrease in medical calls to our facilities
2010 Annual Results:
- Over 42 men and women have moved out of homelessness and into permanent housing.
- We have engaged more than 400 members of the community as volunteers in our kitchen and thrift store.
- Seeds of Hope is entering in to its 4th year of retaining an occupancy rate of over 90% each year.
