More Information

Drawing from area retailers and mixing and matching various style sensibilities, Christine Robidoux, owner of the Salem shop Modern Millie, assisted by Laura Febonio, is creating a not-to-be-missed, choreographed runway show set to a high-energy soundtrack and performed by 15 models. Select fashions will be auctioned after the show and some items will be available for purchase at a discount at the event or at the retailer in the following days.

Robidoux has already produced three notable fashion shows in Salem. Her passion for clothing design dates back to her early experiences being taught to sew vintage fabrics by her grandmother. This inspired a lifetime interest in redesigning clothing to fit her style. Now Robidoux’s life work is to help other women find their own personal style. Robidoux’s eye for fashion and color will be represented through the theme of transformation.

“Transformation and versatility are elemental in fashion,” says Robidoux. “You can expect to see concepts like day-to-evening, vintage to modern, creative ways to mix and match, and of course spring preview.”

Mark Cote, executive director of Lifebridge says, “Transformation is an important part of our program. We offer men and women the support they need to transform their lives and overcome homelessness. We could think of no better theme for this event.”
